Report:A chilly, slightly cloudy, morning turned into a beautiful sunny day. A small group of six riders, we managed to keep together well, only occasionally teased apart by the nagging westerly wind. Following a recommendation, we took an early coffee stop at the Hinton Marsh Farm Shop in Shrivenham; very accommodating with nice cakes and coffee. This pushed lunch back to 1:00, but with two thirds of the ride done, we had a welcome stop at Lynwoods in Bampton. Back in familiar territory, we made short work of the return to Wantage via Grove. Thanks to all for pleasant company and easy riding companions. | ||
