Riders:Barry StantonDavid Jackson Des Higgs Gerry Jones John Tranter Karl Blake Lizzie Hardingham Stephanie Haddrell Steve Swanton Riders = 9 Report:A beautiful autumnal morning, perfect following the rain and so welcome! 9 riders out again and so good to see Lizzie and Gerry. We split into 2 groups as necessary on main roads, following the planned route out to Canfield via Charney and Littleworth. We enjoyed splendid views of autumn hues as we descended to the river, and as we approached Canfield we were grateful for the mild temperatures and sunshine and even more grateful for the scotch eggs and cinnamon buns!after a pleasant stop in the sunshine we headed off through Bampton and Aston, (eventually!) riding along great brook to Buckland Marsh. With stops for traffic lights we then made our way up the hill at our own pace, stopping at the summit to regroup and catch our breath. We then rode on through Buckland, biding Lizzie farewell at the Gainfield crossroads, before heading home via Charney Basset and Denchworth. No mechanicals great company, super coffee stop, all in all a lovely morning, thanks all! | ||
