Description:Our leisurely and sociable 10-mile club rides are designed specifically with adult newcomers to cycling and youngsters in mind, or those who just want some relaxed and sociable exercise. Report:A very peaceful and uneventful trip around the Vale !We welcomed new rider Lisa to the ride, which cruised along at a speed at the top end of 2*. Road works at Denchworth didn't deter the trip via Lyford and up to Southmoor but the track leading to the bridge over the A420 was cunningly concealed from the ride leader (!). No damage 0- just a red face! Some new roads for some and forgotten roads for others meant that this was a very enjoyable ride and we met up with other riders for a sociable bite at the Fox. No rain Thanks to Karen for sweeping and to Jane for buddying up with Lisa. | ||
